Laura Brown

BSc (Hons) University College London, reg MRCSLT, ASLTIP and HCPC.

Laura is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist having worked with children for over 20 years. She gained considerable experience and knowledge working within the NHS for 14 years, progressing to a Highly Specialist role and has worked Independently for the last 6 years.

Laura particularly specialises in working with school-aged children with Speech, Language & Communication needs including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. She also has a wealth of experience in working with pre-school children with delayed language development and speech sound difficulties. Laura understands the importance of making sessions fun and engaging for children and always seeks to understand their interests in order to incorporate them into sessions.

Laura lives in Cheltenham and in her spare time she enjoys paddle boarding, reading and looking after her two sons.

Jo has been a children’s Speech and Language Therapist since 2000 and has
extensive experience working within family homes, early years settings, schools
and specialist provisions for children with significant speech, language and
communication disorders. She worked within the NHS for 16 years and has worked
as an independent Speech and Language Therapist since 2017.


She specialises in working with school-age children and before leaving the NHS was
the Team Lead for a Mainstream School-Age Speech and Language Therapy team.
She also has considerable experience supporting pre-school children with delayed
language and speech sound development. She enjoys working closely with
parents, schools and early years settings to provide assessment and therapy
sessions that are tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child. She
strives to make every session a fun and rewarding experience for the children she
supports.

Zoë Wrigley

BA (Hons) (Brunel University), BSc (Hons)(Birmingham City University), MRCSLT, HCPC Registered
and MASLTIP.

Zoë qualified from Birmingham City University in 2010.  Since graduating she has gained a wealth of skills working in early years, mainstream schools and hearing impairment settings within the NHS and independent practice. 

Zoë is experienced in assessing and delivering a variety of therapeutic interventions for children and young adults who have delayed or disordered speech, expressive and receptive language needs or communication difficulties. She has a special interest in delayed or disordered speech and hearing impairment. She worked in a specialist role within paediatric hearing impairment before leaving to focus on independent practice.  

As a mother, Zoë is passionate about providing fun therapy using a holistic approach with the child and their family at the centre. Her therapy is tailored to the strengths, interests and needs of each individual child to build confidence and maximise potential.

Zoë is based in Moreton in Marsh and is happy to travel to see children.

Debbie Ratcliffe

Bsc hons Leeds Metropolitan University. Reg. MRCSLT and HCPC 

Debbie qualified as a  Speech and Language Therapist in 2003.  Since graduating, she has specialised in working with children across many different settings, including mainstream schools, community clinics and special school settings, spending 10 years working at one early years special school. She gained vast experience working with children with a significant range of speech and language needs during that time.

Since leaving the NHS after 14 years, in 2017, she began working for an academy of primary schools including pre-school settings.  Her current role comprises of assessing and supporting children with a range of difficulties,  including language delay and disorder, and also speech sound difficulties.  She works with many children across the schools, and supports school staff and parents to ensure the children’s speech and language skills progress. 

Debbie loves working with children and always makes sessions fun to ensure the best outcome.

Debbie lives in Churchdown with her husband, two girls, and chocolate labrador. 

 She loves playing hockey and tennis in her spare time and visiting the theatre with friends.
